Boat Specifictions

Popular aft cabin cruiser built by the renowned Neptunus yard circa 1978 in The Netherlands.

The boat has been lifted out of the water every winter whilst in our possession and was last anti-fouled at the start of the 2020 season.

This boat is well suited to Shannon cruising and offers fantastic accommodation for a couple or small family. In addition to the double berth in the aft cabin, there is a vee shaped berth in the forward cabin whilst the dinette can also be converted to a double if needed. There is the further option of converting the saloon seating into a single berth. The galley is fitted with a 3 ring gas hob and fridge which can run on 12/220V or gas. Adjacent to the aft cabin is the WC which is fitted with a sink and toilet. The toilet was replaced in 2016 and is connected to a holding tank.

The aft cabin is bright and airy with twin opening windows and recently fitted blinds. There is ample storage in a full length closet with further storage at the end of the berth. The headlining in this cabin was replaced in 2017.

The saloon is very bright and a nice place to spend some time during the day with an L shaped seating area. The saloon also houses the lower steering position including main engine controls and instrumentation. There is a VHF radio, speed log and depth sounder fitted also.

Heating is by webasco diesel heater with hot air outlets in the saloon and aft cabin. Heater controls are located in the saloon.

A set of steps lead from the saloon to the aft deck where the upper helm is located under a canopy. This has fixed seating for the helmsman plus two with storage underneath and the helm has a second set of Morse engine controls with engine instrumentation and depth sounder. The VHF radio can be relocated to this helm also. The canopy can be removed during sunny days or partially opened during more traditional Irish weather! Aft is a ladder leading to a bathing platform. The gas storage unit is situated on the aft deck and is fitted with a mahogany seat. This boat is fitted with stainless railings all round making extremely safe for young children.

This boat is fitted with twin Volvo Penta MD21A 2.1L diesel engines which are 65hp each extremely economical to run but offer decent cruising speed and more so make this boat extremely easy to maneuver with just two people. In addition, a new bow thruster was fitted in 2017. As these engines were also used in some Peugeot cars (Peugeot engine model XD4.90), this parts easy to find. The starboard engine was fully rebuilt in 2019 by Engine Spares in Lanesborough and both engines start and run extremely well.

The decks were repainted at the start of this season with International Deck paint and the Vetus anchor winch was refurbished at the same time. There are a set of manual davits on the aft deck which can handle a small RIB / inflatable. A 4HP Yamaha outboard is included in the sale, as are all warps, fenders etc.

Both engine batteries were replaced within the last 18 months and the domestic battery was replaced in 2017.

The water tanks were replaced with Vetus flexible tanks in 2017.

Overall this boat is in excellent condition and viewing can be arranged in Banagher Co.Offaly. A full survey can be supplied on request.
